HOLE-IN-ONE INSURANCE
Traditionally, when a golfer makes a Hole-In-One, they purchase drinks for their group and/or the people in the clubhouse. This can get expensive! Women golfers at Heritage offer self-funded Hole-In-One Insurance to assist golfers with expenses related to these celebrations.
How it Works
- Insurance is available to any woman golfer at Heritage (members and non-members).
- Participants contribute $15 to the Insurance Pool. HIO Administrator is Anja Johansson. Please make insurance payments to Anja or drop off envelopes addressed to Anja in the Pro Shop.
- Each $15 contribution funds two (2) HIO payouts.
- To qualify for a HIO insurance payout, the player must have paid into the insurance pool.
- A qualifying Hole-In-One must be appropriately witnessed and attested to by a playing partner or competitor. The Hole-In-One must be scored from a permanent teeing ground, and must be made on a permanent green to a regulation-sized hole. Additionally, the Hole-In-One must be made during play of a nine or eighteen hole round at Heritage Golf Club.
- When the Insurance Fund is depleted, the participants will be surveyed for replenishment of the Fund.
