Rules & Information
You must be a 2024 MGC member in order to participate. Be sure to pay your MGC dues prior to signing up for any tournament. Details for joining can be found here.
Deadline for entry Friday April 19th
Format: 2-man, 1 best net score
PRICE:
$115 Per Player for Heritage members, including cart - PayPal / Venmo
$100 Per Player for non-Heritage members, plus green fees & cart - PayPal / Venmo
Both include lunch after play.
Signups: All players are required to pay at the time you signup.
Teams: Limit of 40 teams, 80 players.
Handicaps: 90% of your posted GHIN handicap as of 5/1/24.
Tee boxes: All players under 70 will play from the Blue tees, 70 and over may choose the White tees, using white tee handicap.
Food: Lunch will be served after play.
Scoring: All scoring will be on the Unknown Golf Website - please electronically sign your scorecard immediately after completion of play
Rules: All putts by a player who's score counts, must be holed out. If any team is observed "raking" both teammates' putts, that team will be disqualified.
All teams should protect the entire field.
NO GIMMIES, no inside the leather, no friendship circle.
Purse: $8000 (if sold out)
Payouts: 1st - $1500, 2nd - $1100, 3rd - $900, 4th - $800, 5th - $700, 6th - $600, 7th - $500, 8th - $400, 9th - $300, 10th $200
Ties: All split $ - All payouts will be electronic – total $7000
Team Skins: $500 – All payouts will be electronic (if none, $ will be added to purse)
Team Close-ups: All par 3’s plus #16 - $100 each, total $500. All payouts will be electronic.
